Security and account protection

Clear boundaries for sensitive career data.

Career profiles and resumes can contain sensitive information. FedUp.work uses specialized providers and access-controlled application routes to separate that information from the site’s public content.

How core services are separated

  • Clerk provides the authentication and session layer used for FedUp.work accounts.
  • Stripe processes checkout and payment details; FedUp.work does not receive full card numbers through its application forms.
  • Resume, profile, dashboard, saved-job, and account-management routes require authentication and are excluded from search indexing.
  • Server endpoints check the authenticated user before returning protected resume or account information.
  • Administrative routes use separate access controls and are not public application surfaces.

What users can do

Use a unique password for your identity account, protect access to your email, review destination links before applying, and avoid placing classified information or information restricted by your employer into a resume or profile.

Account deletion is available through the profile experience. Deletion requests trigger cleanup of account-related application data according to the product’s deletion workflow and applicable retention requirements.

Reporting a concern

If you believe your account or FedUp.work data may be at risk, contact support@fedup.work with the subject “Security concern.” Do not include passwords, full payment-card information, classified information, or other unnecessary sensitive data in the message.
