Signals the system may consider
- Resume text and, when a job-title filter is active, the selected target title.
- Location, remote or hybrid preference, employment type, and compensation criteria.
- The job text and metadata available in each record, used for semantic ranking and selected filters.
- Saved, removed, and applied actions organize the user’s working list; they are not evidence of employer interest and are not presented as a hiring signal.
How to interpret a match indicator
A stronger indicator is a normalized display value derived from semantic similarity between the available resume context and job record. It is not a probability. It does not mean every requirement is met, that the employer has reviewed the user, or that an interview or offer is likely.
Incomplete job descriptions and resumes can reduce the quality of any comparison. Users should read the complete job description and make their own decision before applying.
Limits and user control
- FedUp.work does not make hiring decisions or submit an application without the user’s action.
- Employers may weigh qualifications differently from the signals available to FedUp.work.
- A lower-ranked role can still be a strong opportunity, especially when a user is changing functions or industries.
- Users can adjust preferences, explore recommended titles, and independently verify every role at its application destination.
