Job Title: Contracts Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated DOD Contracts Manager who will provide hybrid (in-person/work from home) advice to our business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. This role involves initiating, tracking, and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, while maintaining associated documentation. Responsibilities Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. Identify risks and issues, suggesting alternatives that lead to the best solutions. Review and manage contractual obligations to ensure all terms and conditions are met. Prepare and disseminate information regarding proposals, contract status, compliance, and modifications. Advise on strategic direction, contract interpretation, and consequences of action/inaction. Proactively resolve issues and disputes to minimize potential litigation and protect our client's reputation. Act as a liaison between the client, project team, business unit, and Legal to address all legal and contractual matters efficiently. Implement contract management processes. Inform the project team of contract requirements and monitor compliance. Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes. Achieve a reasonable understanding of our client’s major business areas to effectively communicate with project Senior Executives and provide relevant advice. Provide training to Contract Management or program personnel as needed. Essential Skills Contracts administration expertise. Familiarity with FAR and Federal Contracts. 7+ years of DFAR experience. Bachelors Degree is required. Experience in cradle-to-grave contracts and risk management. Ability to present to Executives and Contracting Officers. 7 years of contract management experience including negotiations. 4 years of experience in a government contracting environment. Experience managing in a fast-paced workload environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of FAR. Experience in a government contracting environment. Work Environment This position requires the ability to work in a remote environment, with the need to be present in either Chantilly or Arlington for executive meetings quarterly. The work environment is fast-paced and requires effective communication and interaction with various stakeholders. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chantilly, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $74.51/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
