Job Summary B&A is seeking an Investigative Analyst to support a federal government client in Northern Virginia. This is a full-time, on-site position. Anticipated Award: September/October 2026 Anticipated Start: September/October 2026 Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years Salary Range: $140,000 – $220,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award. Location On-site in Northern Virginia Responsibilities Conducts research and analysis to identify, assess, and document investigative leads related to personnel security, counterintelligence, cybersecurity, and insider threat matters. Applies critical thinking and sound judgment to develop findings and actionable recommendations. Produces well-written, concise, and accurate reports and communicates results to all levels of management in formats tailored to stakeholder needs. Manages cases and competing priorities in fast-paced, technology-driven environments while working effectively both independently and within teams. Demonstrates personal integrity, professionalism, and leadership that supports collaboration and respectful consensus building. Education and Experience Entry Level: 0-2 years of specialized experience Journeyman: 2-4 years of specialized experience Full Performance: 4-6 years of specialized experience Senior Level: 6-8 years of specialized experience Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8-12 years of specialized experience Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
