Overview Project Manager Location: Ft. Meade, MD (Hybrid) Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Integral Federal is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to lead our team on a key government contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes within an Agile environment. The PM will be actively engaged with government stakeholders, including the government PM, product owner, and team members. They will be responsible for maintaining effective communication, resolving team issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and ensuring the timely delivery of project milestones. Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of software solutions on time and within scope. Maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensure it remains up to date with project progress, task dependencies, and milestones. Engage regularly with the government PM, product owner, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and met. Handle technical challenges, including managing subcontractors with significant technical expertise and addressing difficult vendor management situations. Ensure product owner satisfaction by balancing requirements, priorities, and expectations. Oversee risk management activities and ensure RMF (Risk Management Framework) compliance, as needed. Utilize MS Project and other project management tools to track progress, manage resources, and report on project health. Drive Agile practices in software development and ensure the team is meeting sprint goals, timelines, and quality standards. Support business development by identifying technical growth opportunities, contributing to proposals, and participating in customer briefings or demonstrations Ensure all personnel meet training and certification requirements (e.g., DoD 8570 baseline certifications) Manage all P&L aspects of the project and work with corporate management on risk management and business growth activities Qualifications Required: U.S. Citizen with active Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field At least 7-10 years of experience managing software development projects, ideally within the DoD or a related government agency. Extensive experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Strong proficiency in MS Project and other project management tools for scheduling, reporting, and tracking progress. Proven experience in stakeholder management, including government PMs, product owners, and team members. Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage team dynamics and subcontractor relationships. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. PMP certification (or equivalent) Preferred: Prior DISA experience strongly preferred RMF experience and understanding of DoD security requirements are highly desirable.
