Job Family: Technology Consulting Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: The Project Management Senior Consultant will lead and oversee delivery of enterprise transformation initiatives across a portfolio of public sector clients. The role combines structured project management discipline, secure software delivery practices, and strong stakeholder engagement to ensure successful implementation of business applications, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies. The Senior Consultant will promote disciplined DevOps processes, effective governance, and continuous improvement to drive predictable, high-quality outcomes in complex, regulated environments. Key responsibilities: Lead projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, release, and transition to operations Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics within structured governance frameworks Coordinate cross-functional teams of developers, engineers, analysts, architects, and security stakeholders Implement and oversee disciplined DevOps and SDLC practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, and environment strategy Ensure solutions are deployed efficiently while maintaining rigorous standards for security, quality, and compliance Oversee development and deployment of Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), including application lifecycle management practices Ensure alignment with cybersecurity, governance, and regulatory requirements in highly regulated environments Support delivery of data analytics and AI-enabled solutions with appropriate governance and risk controls Serve as a primary client point of contact, delivering clear executive-ready communications on status, risks, trade-offs, and decisions Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, DevOps maturity, and team performance What You Will Need: Minimum of 5 years of experience leading project delivery Experience delivering solutions within federal environments Demonstrated experience implementing and overseeing disciplined DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and structured release management Experience managing testing strategies and quality assurance processes Experience leading development and deployment of Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), including environment management and ALM practices Familiarity with cybersecurity and governance frameworks applicable to federal environments (e.g., NIST-based controls or similar) Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-focused communication Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US Citizenship required) Bachelor’s Degree (US equivalent) Ability to commute to client site or Guidehouse office as needed What Would Be Nice To Have: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM, or equivalent project management certification Microsoft Power Platform or Azure certification Experience leading analytics or AI-enabled solution delivery in regulated environments Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field What We Offer: Guidehouse offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
