Summary The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, organizing, and executing marketing projects and content that support brand awareness, lead generation, and internal/external communication initiatives. This role facilitates the full lifecycle of marketing projects—from concept development and content creation through routing, review, and final approvals. The specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all deliverables are accurate, on brand, aligned with strategic goals and completed on time. Strong project coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders are essential for success in this role. Description Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229 What You Will Do: Supervises and implements marketing campaigns for Affordable Care Act and Medicare supplements. Initiates/supervises product design teams to develop and market new products. Monitors/reviews accuracy of project database. Updates database, reports and provides requested reports to management. Reviews campaign costs/results and determines what improvements are needed. Reviews market trends, competitor's products, and customer needs. Trains and supports sales representatives and agents on Affordable Care Act and all Medicare supplement product marketing campaigns. To Qualify for This Position, You Will Need the Following: Required Education: Bachelors in a job-related field. Required Work Experience: 2 years sales/marketing experience in advertising campaign development/management. Examples of advertising campaign development/management are TV, direct mail, newspaper inserts, etc. Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of health insurance and regulatory issues. Good judgment skills. Effective customer service skills. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office.
