The Gist… We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to support a finance transformation engagement for a client within the defense industry. In this role you will support transformative initiatives by partnering with stakeholders to modernize financial processes through innovative technology solutions. What Your Day Might Include… Leverage financial and operational data to drive audit readiness, enabling proactive compliance and transparency across enterprise systems Utilize data and AI platforms (e.g., Databricks, Tableau, AWS, Palantir) to derive actionable insights and support financial decision-making Collaborate with technology practitioners in the development of data-driven solutions for finance transformation Support the embedding of financial management standards into technology solutions to ensure compliance with federal policies Drive integration efforts across systems to enhance data connectivity and reporting effectiveness Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or field directly related to the position; OR active certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM, PMP, ITIL) Four (4) years of experience with Federal financial management Proficiency with data and AI platforms (e.g., Databricks, Tableau, AWS, Palantir) Understanding of federal financial systems and compliance frameworks (OMB A-123, FFMIA, GAO Green Book) Experience supporting financial audit readiness or implementing internal controls Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Nice to Have... Experience working with DoD Advana, including leveraging its data analytics capabilities to support financial decision-making, audit readiness, or performance management. Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and OneStream, with an understanding of their role in federal financial management. Secret or Top Secret Clearance. Professional financial certifications such as CPA, CGFM, CDFM, or CFA, demonstrating expertise in federal financial management and audit standards. Professional certifications in Agile, Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) that demonstrate structured delivery expertise.
