Position Summary: The Strategy & Operations Project Manager will play a key role in leading and coordinating strategic change initiatives across Strongpoint’s growing platform of affiliate companies. This position is responsible for defining, planning, and executing cross-functional projects that support organizational transformation while minimizing disruption to the business. This role requires strong project execution skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the confidence to work across multiple stakeholder groups, including the Strongpoint platform team, affiliate leadership, and end users. The ideal candidate thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and brings structure, clarity, and momentum to evolving initiatives with a servant-leader mindset. PLEASE NOTE: This role is based out of our downtown Chicago office and follows a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration with the flexibility to work remotely part of the week. The Transformation Project Coordinator will ideally work in-office 3-4 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Coordination Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and milestones across multiple concurrent workstreams Ensure tasks are clearly assigned, properly sequenced, and completed on schedule Track project progress in Asana, proactively identifying risks, delays, and dependencies Lead regular check-ins and status updates to keep teams aligned and accountable Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, Technology, and Leadership to coordinate project activities Serve as a central point of coordination between the Strongpoint platform team and affiliate partners Draft clear, concise written updates, summaries, and communication materials tailored to various audiences, including senior leadership Facilitate meetings, document decisions and action items, and ensure timely follow-up Project Discipline & Risk Management Monitor project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks; escalate issues early and recommend solutions Maintain organized project documentation, trackers, dashboards, and reference materials Support the development and continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and playbooks Change Leadership & Organizational Impact Bring structure and clarity to fast-moving environments where priorities and timelines evolve Ensure project teams understand goals, expectations, and deadlines Maintain professionalism, calm, and focus during periods of organizational change Communicate project benefits, scope, and progress clearly to drive adoption and engagement Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Organizational Development, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in consulting, banking, private equity, startups, or similar industries, with a developed business skillset and acumen. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare polished materials and present to senior leaders Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive workstreams simultaneously Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Experience working in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environments Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana or similar platforms) Qualitative Qualifications Thrives in an extremely fast-paced, evolving environment Demonstrates a servant-leader mindset Approaches challenges with “tough-minded optimism” Brings structure and calm to ambiguity Strong sense of ownership and follow-through Pay Transparency Statement: The anticipated pay range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 annually. At Strongpoint Partners, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.
