We are global private markets specialists delivering tailored investment solutions, advisory services, and impactful, data driven insights to the world’s investors. Leveraging the power of our platform and our peerless intelligence across sectors, strategies, and geographies, we help identify the advantages and the answers our clients need to succeed. Position Summary The Director of Investor Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for managing two core functions that support the firm’s global business development efforts: (1) Investor Onboarding and Lifecycle Operations, and (2) Sales Data and Reporting. This individual will lead teams that ensure a seamless investor onboarding experience across co-mingled funds and separately managed accounts, while also building and scaling a centralized data and reporting capability that delivers consistent, accurate, and executive-ready sales insights across the firm. The Director will serve as a critical partner to Business Development, Fund Accounting, Corporate Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and external service providers, with direct accountability for executive reporting, closed sales tracking, and operational transparency supporting fundraising and distribution strategies. Leadership & Team Management Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of 6+ professionals across two functional groups: the Investor Onboarding Team and the newly established Sales Data & Reporting Team. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on operational excellence, data integrity, and service to internal stakeholders. Manage offshore and/or third-party resources as applicable, ensuring appropriate oversight, controls, and service-level adherence. Investor Onboarding & Lifecycle Operations Manage the team responsible for overseeing all aspects of investor onboarding, including subscriptions, AML/KYC review, documentation processing, account setup, and coordination with transfer agents, custodians, and administrators. Act as a senior escalation point for complex onboarding matters, investor inquiries, and cross-functional issues. Partner with Product Management, Legal, and Compliance to design and implement onboarding processes that align with regulatory, product, and jurisdictional requirements. Sales Data Management & Reporting Build and lead a centralized function responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and governing sales and investor data across systems. Partner with several departments across the firm to establish data standards, controls, and reconciliation processes to ensure consistency across Salesforce CRM, investor records, finance systems, and third-party platforms. Develop and maintain core sales and fundraising reports and dashboards that will be used by the Global Head of Business Development and Executive level leadership. Ensure reporting supports multiple views of the business by product, channel, region, investor type, and distribution partner. Deliver clear, timely insights on fundraising performance, pipeline activity, investor trends, and capital commitments. Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from executive leadership with speed and precision. Translate complex operational and sales data into concise, decision-useful management materials. Education and/or work experience requirements: 10+ years of experience in investor operations, sales enablement, fund operations, or related roles within asset management or alternative investments. Demonstrated experience managing investor onboarding across co-mingled funds, SMAs, and semi-liquid or evergreen structures. Proven experience managing teams, including hiring, performance management, and development. Strong background in sales reporting, compensation tracking, and broker-dealer or placement agent economics. Experience partnering with executive leadership and delivering executive-level reporting. Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with CRM and BI tools preferred. Salary Range: $205,000 - $225,000 The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.
