Full Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support the sales team in developing new business opportunities. The Intern will gain hands-on experience in the employee benefits brokerage/consulting process, including prospecting, market analysis, and client engagement, develop professional skills, and contribute to daily operations and special projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain real-world experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * Assist with identifying and researching potential employer group prospects within target markets. * Prepare prospecting lists, outreach templates, and pre‑call preparation materials. * Participate in sales meetings, discovery calls, and broker-carrier discussions as appropriate. * Update CRM records, track sales activities, and maintain accurate documentation. * Support marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, event preparation, or content creation related to benefits education. * Learn and apply internal tools, processes, and systems. Skills and Knowledge * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional presence, and willingness to learn. * Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data interpretation. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. * Team‑oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employers and carrier partners.
