If you are a distribution professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Supervisor based in Southaven, MS. In this role, you will be directly responsible for managing daily operations within the Memphis Distribution Center. You will lead and support an hourly workforce while partnering closely with leadership, vendors, and both internal and external customers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality distribution operations. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: * Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support through positive and professional interactions during daily operations. * Ensure employees understand their assigned responsibilities and have the tools, resources, and direction needed to perform their work effectively. * Optimize operational output by aligning workforce execution with productivity, quality, and safety expectations. * Mentor and develop team members to support performance objectives and long-term career growth. * Maintain strong employee relations through timely coaching, honest feedback, and consistent communication. * Drive continuous improvement for the department, team, and individual performance using measurable goals. * Build team engagement by navigating challenges together and recognizing achievements and successes. For This Role, You Will Need: * An associate degree in business management, supply chain, logistics, or a related field. * A minimum of five (5) years of experience in distribution or warehouse operations. * A minimum of five (5) years of experience leading teams, with specific experience supervising pick/pack operations. * Proficiency using ERP, WMS, and Microsoft Office applications to review, analyze, and act on operational data. * Experience operating a forklift. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage people and priorities. * The ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 pounds. * Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided for this role. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: * Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a distribution or warehouse environment. * Demonstrated ability to drive team engagement and performance in a fast-paced operation. * Experience working cross-functionally with operations leadership, vendors, and internal customers. * Proven success developing and retaining high-performing teams. * Experience training others on forklift operation. * Experience working on an off shift.
