Overview We are seeking a proactive and adaptable IT Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of technology and business initiatives. This role will replace an existing position and play a key part in delivering a variety of IT-focused projects within a dynamic and evolving environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly take ownership, drive projects forward, and effectively partner with both IT and business stakeholders. This is a hybrid role based in Denver, CO. All qualified candidates MUST live in the Denver, CO area and be authorized to work without requiring sponsorship. Please note that we do not work C2C. Key Responsibilities · Manage and deliver multiple concurrent IT projects (typically 3–4 at a time) across various domains · Lead initiatives including: o Data migrations o M&A integrations o Application upgrades o Remediation efforts o SAP-related workflows and implementations · Partner with IT and business teams to ensure alignment and successful execution · Support and contribute to change management efforts · Collaborate with vendors and external partners · Help guide discussions around SOX compliance, cybersecurity, and data security best practices · Develop and maintain project plans, status reporting, and executive presentations (Smartsheet, PowerPoint) · Navigate shifting priorities and adapt to changing business needs · Facilitate regular workstream meetings, to ensure cross workstream collaboration. · Ensure team(s) maintains focus on quality and continuous delivery · Provide visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress · Understand network architecture to identify upstream and downstream dependencies and to support the business in risk management · Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required) · Utilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve · Communicates with leaders across the organization on a regular basis to ensure transparency into delivery, risks, issues, etc. · Execute Project Management across multiple workstreams to ensure a cohesive delivery plan is achieved · Ensure the respective readiness reviews and tests are coordinated and conducted in a timely manner · Support integrated reporting, status, and deliverable tracking across the project · Support the administration of Project status meetings and forums, including capturing action items and decisions · Establish risk management, escalation paths, and take corrective measurements, supporting issue and risk tracking and mitigation · Holds project team accountable for deliverables and commitments. · Support Program Manager to summarize workstream status, escalations and next steps · Utilize PMI PMP methodology · Integrate business policies and governance processes into planning and accountability for project roadmaps and strategy · Facilitate and lead project meetings and manage stakeholders’ communication · Coordinate, manage and monitor the workflow of cross-functional teams · Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project artifacts and deliverables. · Align deliverables (outputs) to the program/project workstream’s “outcome” · Own overall integrated project plan and manage cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and achievement of business goal Desired Skills and Experience · 3-5 years of proven experience managing IT/technical projects across multiple disciplines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment · Strong foundation in traditional (waterfall) project management methodologies · Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills · Ability to work independently and proactively drive outcomes · Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams · Experience in SAP environments is preferred · Exposure to M&A integrations is preferred · Knowledge of SOX compliance, cybersecurity, and data governance is preferred · Energy industry experience (nice to have, not required) · Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership · Service-oriented with a collaborative and respectful approach · Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly evolving environment · Comfortable working with teams at varying levels of experience · Strong cultural fit—someone who can lead with both drive and empathy Education/Certifications · Bachelor’s degree is required with a preference in Business, Engineering, IT or Communications Compensation For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensational decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement with an annual salary range of $90,000-$110,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
