Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. We accept direct hire candidates only, W2 employee hires. Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support the client. This will be an on-site, in-office hybrid position located in Bethesda, MD. POSITION SUMMARY: Support federal, defense, and civilian agency missions. Handle daily HR functions—including recruitment onboarding employee relations benefits administration Ensure strict compliance with federal contractor regulations, including OFCCP, EEO, and SCA requirements. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Compliance & Audit Support: Monitor and ensure company policies align with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain audit-ready personnel files and documentation to support DCAA, DOL, and OFCCP audits. Recruitment & Staffing: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting positions on relevant job boards, screening candidates, ensuring compliance with Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) recruitment guidelines. Onboarding & Lifecycle: Facilitate new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, employee offboarding. Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, Conduct investigations into workplace concerns Provide guidance to management on performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution. Benefits & Payroll Administration: Administer company benefits programs (medical, dental, 401k) Assist with payroll data accuracy, including monitoring Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determinations. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 3–5 years of progressive HR experience At least 1–2 years in a government contracting (GovCon) environment. Federal Compliance Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of EEO, Affirmative Action (AAP), FMLA, ADA, and FLSA. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Technology Proficiency: Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred). PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: SHRM-CP or PHR certification. Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) or Davis-Bacon Act (DBA). Experience with security clearance processing/suitability vetting Min.
