Full-Time Location: Remote with periodic travel to Wanaque, New Jersey (Corporate Office) Position Overview The Analyst on the Intelligence Team is responsible for conducting detailed research, analysis, and reporting to support client needs. This role requires a sharp analytical mind, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce concise, actionable intelligence products that meet Hetherington Group’s professional standards. Success in this role will be measured by the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of intelligence deliverables and by the analyst’s contribution to team objectives. Key Responsibilities Intelligence Collection and Monitoring Conduct continuous and project-based monitoring of open-source information environments to identify emerging threats, risks, and relevant events. Collect and validate information from publicly available sources including news media, social platforms, public records, dark web sources, and commercial databases. Monitor geopolitical developments, security incidents, criminal activity, and industry trends in support of client and organizational requirements. Maintain situational awareness during live events, elevated threat periods, corporate investigations, and operational surges. Intelligence Analysis and Reporting Apply structured analytical techniques to synthesize large volumes of information into clear, accurate, and actionable intelligence products. Produce timely reports, threat assessments, incident summaries, and executive briefings aligned with client requirements and Hetherington Group's CRAWL methodology. Assess the credibility, relevance, and potential impact of collected information to support informed risk and investigative decisions. Achieve and maintain report accuracy rates of 95% or higher, with a target of 90% first-review approval on all deliverables. Risk Monitoring and Threat Assessment Identify, track, and assess potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risk factors across corporate, physical, reputational, and geopolitical domains. Apply analytical frameworks to evaluate competitive intelligence, threat actor behavior, and emerging risk indicators. Support incident response and escalation workflows in accordance with client-specific protocols. Contribute to risk assessment products and briefings that support executive-level decision making. Investigations Support Provide research and analytical support for corporate investigations, including due diligence, background inquiries, and evidentiary documentation. Utilize OSINT, PAI, proprietary databases, and other investigative resources to develop comprehensive research files. Maintain strict chain-of-custody practices and documentation standards consistent with legal and ethical requirements. Coordinate with Senior Analysts, the Manager of Intelligence, and external partners as required. Collaboration and Teamwork Perform shift-based duties as assigned, supporting extended daily coverage that may include evenings, weekends, and event-driven operations. Participate in shift handovers and briefings to ensure continuity of situational awareness across coverage periods. Adhere to established protocols, reporting formats, and escalation procedures. Engage in cross-training across intelligence functions to build broad operational proficiency and ensure seamless continuity of client deliverables. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat monitoring, investigative research, or a comparable analytical role. Demonstrated experience conducting open-source intelligence research and producing written analytical products. Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Proficiency in OSINT, SOCMINT, PAI methodologies, and analytical or data visualization tools. Familiarity with the intelligence cycle, structured analytical techniques, and investigative research practices. Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends, with occasional travel as required. OSC credential preferred or to be earned within six months of start date.
