About the Position Our client is seeking a Logistics Project Analyst to join its operations team in Dayton, Ohio. This role serves as a key analytical and project management resource within the logistics and supply chain organization. The Logistics Project Analyst will leverage data-driven insights to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize logistics operations, and lead cross-functional improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with business acumen—translating complex data into actionable strategies that enhance logistics performance, reduce waste, and improve overall process efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Analyze logistics and supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-reduction opportunities Develop and manage logistics-related projects from concept through implementation Partner cross-functionally with operations, procurement, manufacturing, and finance teams Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on transportation, warehousing, and inventory optimization Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear, actionable manner Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field 3–6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analytics, operations analysis, or project management Experience supporting logistics or distribution operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience a plus) Experience working on cross-functional projects Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies preferred) Ability to work onsite in Dayton, OH Benefits Competitive salary range: $80,000–$90,000 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays Professional development and career growth opportunities Opportunity to work for a global industry leader with long-term stability and strong values 5% Bonus Target
