Description Job Title: Project Manager Location: Portland, ME About MPX MPX helps organizations deliver critical, compliant communications—securely and at scale— across print and digital channels. We serve leading health plans, insurers, and financial institutions, combining deep print-and-mail expertise with a modern, AWS-based technology platform built for reliability, security, and compliance. As MPX continues to scale, we are seeking a skilled Project Manager who can ensure strong execution across client implementations and internal initiatives, while partnering closely with technology, operations, and business stakeholders. About the Role The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and delivers client-facing and internal technology initiatives from initiation through completion. This role serves as a key link between client needs and MPX solutions, translating requirements into actionable plans and driving successful execution across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. While this role does not include direct people management, it requires strong ownership, collaboration, and communication skills. What You’ll Do Manage multiple concurrent projects across the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation aligned with MPX standards. Track progress, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues with recommended mitigation strategies Assess client-supplied materials to evaluate feasibility and identify requirement gaps. Partner with internal teams to translate client needs into clear requirements and implementation plans. Review client data samples, adapt document designs, and maintain data-mapping documentation for integrations. Participate in client meetings and internal working sessions. Produce concise meeting notes, action items, and regular status updates on milestones, risks, and progress. Follow established project governance frameworks, tools, and best practices. Contribute to process improvements, templates, and documentation standards. Support project performance reporting and visibility across initiatives. Develop client training materials and deliver training on MPX tools, including the MPX console. Who You Are 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in technology, data, or regulated environments. Experience managing client-facing implementations or complex operational projects. Proven ability to manage projects through completion with strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to read and interpret business and technical documentation. Familiarity with regulated and compliance-driven environments (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI). PMP, PgMP, or related project management certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Waterfall, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.).
